Get your hands in the soil and discover the joy of growing plants from seed, with a special focus on native species that thrive right here at home. In this energetic, hands-on class, participants will learn how to start seeds successfully and set young plants up for long-term success. We’ll explore why native plants matter, how they support pollinators and local ecosystems, and how easy they can be to grow. You’ll plant your own seeds to take home and gain practical tips you can use in your garden, yard, or containers.
By the end of this class, participants will be able to:

Identify the benefits of planting native species
Read and understand seed packets
Properly start seeds using soil and simple containers
Care for seedlings and know when they’re ready to plant outdoors

Perfect for beginners and plant lovers alike, come plant, learn, and grow! Please bring $10 with you for all supplies
