Foundations of Augmented and Virtual Reality (AVR 102)

This course covers the fundamentals of augmented and virtual reality (AVR) with a focus on developing applications. You will receive hands-on training through a variety of learning modules. This includes basic concepts in understanding AVR, software and computer basics, best practices in programming using C#, application development with Unity game engine, texturing in Adobe Photoshop, and 3D modeling and animation with Autodesk 3ds Max. At the end of this course, you will be able to: describe the uses of augmented and virtual reality; differentiate the techniques and technologies utilized in creating simulations with augmented and virtual reality; and utilize flowcharts and basic programming methodologies.
