This course is for participants who have completed the AHA ACLS online program. They will present the certificate awarded them after completing the program and a copy of their current ACLS card. The participant will then complete the following objectives:
1.Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to manage the first 10 minutes of a witnessed, adult, VF cardiac arrest.
2.Demonstrate the working knowledge of the core ACLS cases, CPR and AED and to manage the post-resuscitation period.
3.Demonstrate leadership capabilities in "running a code" including proper command and control of the rescuers and bystanders, and the steps of the phased-response approach.
