River Odyssey: Guided Canoe Adventure in the Ozarks

Embark on a thrilling 4-day expedition through a 38-mile section of the enchanting Southern Missouri's Current River by canoe. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking Ozark National Scenic Riverway, where you'll encounter mesmerizing caves, towering dolomite bluffs, and pristine crystal-clear waters, accompanied by some of the world's largest natural springs.
This guided outdoor adventure is designed to introduce participants to the wonders of the local ecology while honing essential skills in canoeing, hiking, water safety, camping, fishing, wilderness survival, and map reading. Gain an in-depth understanding of the native flora and fauna of the Ozarks, adding a rich layer of knowledge to your journey.
Participants will experience primitive camping under the vast, starlit skies, creating lasting memories of nights spent in the heart of nature. All meals will be provided while navigating the river, allowing you to focus on the experience without the hassle of planning and cooking. Additionally, transportation is included, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable exploration of this remarkable region.
A required pre-trip meeting is scheduled for August 5th 5:00-7:30pm at Nahant Marsh, Davenport, IA. 

This trip is for people 18 years of age or older.
Fee includes meals for five days, tent and canoe rental, transportation, and guide.
