Effective Mentoring: Building Relationships

A recent CNBC/SurveyMonkey Workplace Happiness survey found that 90% of workers who have a mentor say they are satisfied with their jobs. Being a mentor and a mentee can boost confidence, enhance skills, improve productivity, attain goals, expand workplace diversity and inclusion, and retain valuable organizational knowledge. This session is for both the mentor and protégé. You will: 

  • Learn ways to develop one’s career through networking and locating/becoming a mentor/protégé. 

  • Articulate the importance of mentoring for the mentor, the protégé, and the organization. 

  • Understand the key components of an effective mentoring relationship including activities to do with one’s mentor/protégé.
