Effective Mentoring: Growing as a Mentor

Now, more than ever, organizations need mentors. As millennials continue their demographic march of becoming almost 75% of the workforce (anticipated 2025), 79% of them see mentoring as crucial to their career success. However, organizations are struggling to offer learning and development opportunities to this important group. You can become part of that solution by becoming an effective mentor. 

This session is for those looking to build or improve their skills as mentors. You will: 

  • Learn methods for mentors to receive the most benefit from the mentoring relationship. 

  • Develop action plans to improve any skills needed to maintain effective ongoing mentoring relationships with protégés. 

  • Craft strategies to work through potential common problems experienced with protégés.
