Have you completed the 75 hour Nurse Aide course? Have you worked as a Nurse Aide but stopped employment for more than 24 months? Are you a nursing student who has completed the fundamentals class for your nursing program? Are you a nurse aide from another state and want to work in Iowa? If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions then you qualify to take this course. This is a review course of the basic 75 hour Nurse Aide program, including the 30 skills. Particiants will be better prepared to take the Iowa State exam for placement on the Direct Care Worker Registry.
Participants will need to show proof that they have completed a Nurse Aide course, proof of completing the fundamentals course for
the nursing program, or proof that they were once on a Nurse Aide Registry to gain entry into this program.
