Functional Fitness is a type of training that prepares the body for real-life movements and activities. This low impact class will include moderate cardio, strength training with integrated functional moves using dumbbells, bands, and body weight. This workout translates to benefits beyond calorie burning. It mimics everyday movement patterns. The majority of these exercises recruit various muscles through multi-joint movements as you work the body through several planes to improve balance, cognition, and confidence. The class has a successful track record, through 20 years, with a Certified Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer.
