This 8-week education program is offered at no cost to participants and is nationally developed and federal agency approved. NAMI Family-to-Family not only provides information and strategies for taking care of the person you love, but you'll also find out that you're not alone. Recovery is a journey, and there is hope.
Who should attend: family members and/or caregivers of an individual living with a mental health condition who is over the age of 18.
The group setting provides mutual support and shared positive impact—experience compassion and reinforcement from other family members who have been trained to become instructors as a result of taking this course themselves. Sharing your own experience may help others in your class. In the program, you'll learn about:

• Understanding Mental Health Conditions and Preparing for a Crisis
Getting a Mental Health Diagnosis and Sharing our Stories
Overview of Mental Health Conditions
• Treatment Options
• Communication Skills and Problem Solving

Self-Care and Moving Forward
