This course, delivered by an MSHA approved cooperative trainer, must be taken if an individual is going to work at a mine site for the first time. Hands-on, interactive instruction covers MSHA Part 46 & 48B surface training for underground mines, and health and safety issues relevant to mining operations and its employees.
NOTE: This class is offered over Zoom video webinar platform for your safety and convenience - Zoom will allow you to participate with your instructor and other students just like you would in a real classroom environment. The training will require a computer and internet access. We will send your classroom login instructions for Zoom via email 1-2 days before class.
