Payroll Practice & Management (Online)

If you’re pursuing an entry-level position as a payroll professional, this course will help you gain the skills you need to enter the field. Payroll Practice and Management covers all critical areas of payroll administration and management. By the end of this course, you will know the major components of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, the Internal Revenue Code, your chosen state’s labor code, sections of the Internal Revenue Code related to calculation, withholding and reporting of required taxes on wages, definitions, basic requirements, taxation, and reporting of various types of fringe benefits and compensation, and year-end forms that payroll is required to process. The program is entirely online and is self-paced. You can begin anytime and will have six months to complete once you begin.
