This workshop is tailored for your organization to enhance and reinforce the skills learned in the instructor-led “Interviewing Skills for Supervisors” workshop. It enhances the prior interviewer training with an opportunity for practice and review of specific interest areas as listed below. You will:

Receive tips on preparing for in-person and virtual interviews.

Learn to actively listen to focus entirely on the interviewee without interrupting and by asking clarifying questions (master the "80/20" rule; candidate speaks 80% of the time).
Create scoring keys for candidate responses.
Watch sample interviews and rate candidate strengths or lack thereof.
Learn how to sell the job opportunity to the qualified candidate.
Handle challenging interview situations, such as the overly prepared or inauthentic candidate.
Master advanced interview techniques with interview practice sessions while receiving immediate feedback.
