Pet CPR First Aid & Pet Disaster Preparedness

This course provides participants with the knowledge and practical hands-on skills needed to respond to common pet emergencies until veterinary care is available. Topics include recognizing signs of illness and injury, understanding animal body language, safely approaching and transporting pets, controlling bleeding, treating shock, responding to choking incidents, and performing pet CPR. Participants will also learn how to prepare for emergencies and disasters, build a pet emergency kit, and safely travel with pets during road trips, flights, and outdoor adventures. Upon completion, learners will be better prepared to provide immediate care and support the safety and well-being of companion animals.  Participants will earn certification card.
