This class is designed to prepare the participant to safely administer or supervise self-administration of noninjectable medications.  It is for those who are employed in a cognitively disabled facility, child caring facility or supervised apartment or community based living.
This course will be completed online for theory and 100% of the course must be completed.  You will have 30 days to complete the online theory section, and this begins upon registration.  Lab/clinical for 3 hours is a requirement and can be completed by a RN in your employment facility.

Please read:  Your log in information will be sent to you via email within 48 hours after registration.  Email subject line: Medication Manager for community based service providers (online) class log in information. This is a pass/fail course. Students must attend 100% attendance of instruction. Students must pass the CORE component, the first six hours, with a 70% or higher to continue in the course. With the online course, lab/clinical for 3 hours is a requirement for this course and can be completed by an RN in your employing facility. You will have 30 days to complete the online theory and 100% of this course must be completed, and this time begins upon registration. All students must take the final exam with Eastern Iowa Community College and score an 80% or higher to pass the course.
